NextPhase Medical Devices LLC is a fast-growing, engineering design and contract manufacturer of single-use and electromechanical medical devices, with facilities in Rochester, NH, Mansfield, MA, Waldwick, NJ and Tijuana, Mexico
Assembly operators working in a clean room environment will follow written Assembly Procedures (AP’s) and assemble products as assigned by the Production Assistant (PA) or Team Lead (TL) in a Value Stream (VS).
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assembly Operators will be punctual and maintain regular attendance per the shift schedule and attendance policy. Assembly operators will work in a team (LEAN) environment assembling medical products using single piece flow technique or batch process assembly.
- Follow established procedures and assembly instructions and assemble products as assigned. (Assembly activities include but are not limited to Crimping, Cutting, Soldering, Heat shrinking, Heat stamping, Ultrasonic Welding, Solvent Bonding – Tubing, UV epoxy dispensing, Hi Pot testing,
Continuity testing, Pressure testing, Coiling/Wrapping, Sealing – Pouch, Band, Tray, Boxing/Labeling, In Process Inspection – visual, microscope, and final, Packaging of Final Product.) - Follow all safety requirements of the company as defined in SOP 20-02.
- Follow and comply with all applicable procedures and policies as defined in the NextPhase Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Complete and maintain forms and/or records as directed.
- Monitor and inspect in-process criteria per applicable procedures and contact the Production Assistant when specifications are not met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain a positive and productive attitude.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Experience with Crimping, Cutting, Soldering, Heat shrinking, Heat stamping, Ultrasonic Welding, Solvent Bonding – Tubing, UV epoxy dispensing, Hi-Pot testing, Continuity Testing, Pressure testing, Coiling/Wrapping, Sealing – Pouch, Band, Tray, Boxing/Labeling, In Process Inspection – visual,
microscope, and final, Packaging of Final Product, preferred.
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Electro-Mechanical assembly experience preferred
Physical Demands:
• Prolonged periods of standing (8 hours) and performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to wear a hairnet, glasses, gloves, gown, and shoe covers
